Posted by: wmcandrew at Wed Jun 25 18:24:32 2008 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by wmcandrew ] I was cleaning cages this morning and when I got to this girls she was in her nest box with her tail raised about to pop her first egg out. I videotaped the third egg and its pretty cool because you can see the contractions as the egg moves down her body and finally out of her tail. She started laying around 1 today and it’s about 5:30 and she has laid 4 eggs so far. Last time I checked her I felt 7-8 eggs inside so I'll keep my fingers crossed. She is Anrey het for Albino who was bred with an Anrey het for albino. This is my first time breeding Hondo's and it looks like a success! I will post a new pic when she is done laying. | ||
