I am hearing that it is the new permit system that is keeping so many vendors away. If I understand it correctly every customer that buys any of the big stuff (retics, burms, etc) even babies has to get the new $100 permit. I was told that it was per animal. Not sure how many people would buy $100 permit to purchase a $100-200 snake. I was also told that it is for all the animals sold in Florida whether you are a Florida native or not. If that is right I understand why some dealers would just pass.
