...excellent state and leading the way in which exotics should be handled. If we as owners of exotics do not get these "rules" started in the right direction then we will not be able to own any type of animals besides cats and dogs in the near future. The reason we have Permits instead of an outright ban of large constrictors is thanks in part to a group of business people involved with exotics...other states should follow the guidelines set forth by Florida and we would not be worrying about the federal government stepping in and causing all kinds of problems.
