First of all, my ball python had her prelay shed exactly three weeks ago and I think I might go insane while waiting for her to lay! How am I supposed to survive for two months while they incubate? . Anyway, What time of day do females usually lay? Most sources I've found say that they'll lay three weeks after shedding, but I've read everything from 7 to 28 days, point is, what time of day should I check her if I want to see her laying?
Ok, second question, I read something in a post further down about listerine to kill mold on eggs? did I read it right? I've got a clutch of rat snake eggs that are going moldy but are fertile, how can I stop the mold growing? Should I just leave them be or could the mold eventually sufocate the eggs? They're on damp vermiticulite,I guess this is the wrong forum for rat snakes but there are more people on this forum with experience inncubating eggs. Thanks for any responces!
