I think I would've had a heart attack if I found what I found this morning a half a dozen years ago. Although they don't have the "value" they once did, it's still exciting to hatch white snakes.
I had seven eggs from a Het to Het breeding (Russo het to Mojave). Today was Day 55 and I had not seen any indication of hatching. Well, close enough so I got out my trusty scissors. Three Blue-eyed Leucistics, two Mojaves, and 2 Normals or Russo hets in the clutch. It's hard to tell the Russo hets from Normals while they are still in the eggs. Three Lucies are nice, although they do look quite purple in these pics.
Sorry for the lousy photos and I never was very graceful with the scissors.
