Hello there, I never thought I would be writing about a snake but we had one visit us last night. Pup found it on our patio (it was dark - we had on just one light to let puppy out for one last run - mini dachshund - perhaps "snack" size??). We live in Alabama and it has been really hot here lately. That is about all I can tell you about this snake.About 4 ft. long, brown and black markings, nothing "patterned". We did have a neighbor find a 6 ft. rattlesnake a couple of weeks ago. This one we had did not have rattles. Thanks in advance for any help you can give. Tinalc

P.S. I have a picture but do not know how to upload it here. Can anyone help?
