The only snake photo in your gallery is

The only snake shown in your photo gallery (the banded one in your hand) is a Banded Kukri Snake (Oligodon arnensis). Kukri Snakes are not venomous.



It does look a little bit like a Banded Krait (Bungarus fasciatus) which may be why you heard it was venomous. It isn't a Krait.
