Posted by: sanchez83 at Wed Nov 19 14:50:20 2008 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by sanchez83 ] My monocled cobra stopped eating (she was just a baby) about 2 weeks ago, which I didnt see as a huge problem until today, when I got home from work and she had passed away. I really hope I don't have an infection or some virus in the air, I'm thinking she may have been too stressed to eat, but I don't want to take a chance of losing the rest of my collection to an infection. She wasn't showing any signs of any illness, and was even readily striking the air upon any movement in the vicinity of her tank as of yesterday... There are cats in the house, and although they dont venture too much into the "snake room", I'm thinking (hoping, as bad as that sounds, but the alternative would be worse I suppose) that may have caused too much stress on her. I have heard that Monocled Cobra's are very hardy however, and this just doesnt seem that likely... Anyone with suggestions or theories please help! | ||
