The area require me to have government permission and a variety of permits before entering. During my entire stay I only saw one bushmaster (and I did keep my eyes open). They are incredibly rare, even in areas that are still pristine untouched virgin rain forest, but they do certainly exist. You could find coral snakes quite easily if you knew where to look and on one occasion I tried to keep up with a 14' Indigo snake. I ended chasing him through the forest in an attempt to catch it until it found a hole under a HUGE rotting log. | ||
