I only have these 2 babies and they're both females. Helane at Smooth Scalin has another female. I had a male but he died on me...
I have no idea what to think and wont even be sure when they're adults. I personally price things by color and pattern on everything and think that is only suitable for offspring from this project. In a way I am glad there's only 3 babies from this project so far.
Mine are going to be bred to their Dad when the time comes and it will be interesting to see if I get some more babies from the parents this season.
I did have one kind of similar to pic number 3, the het Hypo one. Dead in the egg though....
One thing to consider........and really think about this. Just like Ghost Brooksi look like adult Axanthics as babies.... I think my possible Hypo Blaze looks like an ADULT [in color] Blaze, yet baby Blazes have striking vivid colors... Adult Blazes often seem Peach colored.....not very red or orange. My possible Hypo Blaze looks like a buckskin Thayeri or an adult Blaze in color now....who knows what he will look like next season?
Crossing subs is always going to bring surprises but I don't think this project is really off the ground yet. Gimme a few more years and I should have lots to talk about.
I may keep all the babies this season if I am lucky enough to get some.
