So if thery're different, where do the Northerns originate from specifically?

In the late eighties, Eugene Bessette purchased Northern Brazilians which had provenance to North Brazil & entered the U.S.

The Belem, Brazilians from Gus Rentfro, comes from animals directly imported from Belem on the Atlantic coast of brazil.

I also have a nice group of Eugene colony, Lemke/Jack Dyer, and Floridaredtails Northern Brazilians.....My favorites!!
