Some sources don't even designate Lampropeltis getula goini as a separate subspecies.............or instead they call it Lampropeltis getula meansi. Yet other just refer to it as Lampropeltis getula floridana.

I believe the Center for North American Herpetology designates the subspecies as L.g.meansi currently.

I believe the common name is the Apalachicola Kingsnake.

If I am incorrect on this, please someone politely call me out on it......as I have never fully understand the controversy regarding its/their taxonomy.
