They are the real deal. Do a search for them, as it has been typed out and talked about quite a few times on forums over the last 5-7 years, too much to go over it all again right now.

However, there are albino pyro pyro out there that were bred X L. ruthveni, the amel. gene from L.ruthveni was crossed to MANY ssp. of lampros-(puebs,thayeri,pyro pyro,alterna,etc.).

But one way to prove there is no way the amel pyros are any part of the ruthveni trait is this....the albino pyros popped out of normals that also produced hypo snakes-(its like DJ's black gap alterna, he had anery's and hypos pop out of the same line) there was never any hypo ruthveni. plus, people who know pyros well have looked at them and no signs show any thing different than pure pyro. At any rate, they are cool animals, its a hobby strain thing-(non locale) some of the pyro morphs could of been locale specific-9I have the original wc hypoE and some of his F-1 offspring, so there is still pure locale hypoE stuff available) but he was crossed X other normal geenric pyros for hets, plus bred X appleagte phase for double hets. It is cool to have some of the OG stuff, but when it comes to morphs and people wanting to make the double homo morphs...its tough to keep that stuff legit any further. Hope some of that helps a little. I would say check out this web site, but then this post would be deleted....
