Yeah, I remember when I photographed my first one to post on FHF. The snakes light rings looked a lot brighter from the flash making it look like a normal Cal king. They really are darker under normal lighting and finding them out in the wild is a real treat because you see many normals before one of these turn up. Very cool snake, Byron.
