I'd save yourself the trouble and just hit Reptile Gardens just outside of Rapid City. They have an outstanding collection and you will not be disappointed. Just so you know, few people here are going to tell a perfect stranger exactly where to look to find herps. Don't take offense to it, but most of us are not looking to have our native wildlife removed by collectors and be left with a landscape void of the animals we are so excited to see in the wild. Even if your just out taking photos, if we post info here, a collector will likely read it too. Sorry!
