My first thought to your question would be yes, but at the same time, I know you can get decent breeding results from shorter hook up times as well. I would think overall that longer breedings may POSSIBLY result in, simply put, better results, but it is hard to say. The female that was in the " 24 hour breeding" pair would lay the same amount of eggs in her clutch each year, which was 14 eggs each time, regardless of the breeding time. All other times were much shorter than 24 hours.
