IF the tail tip is dead, it will fall off...you don;t have to do anything or worry...keep an eye on it from now on and try not to let it happen to other stuff ....

I have taken scissors and cut off more than one tip of a tail......healed fine...

(like I said...it will fall off or heal on it's own, don't go grabbing scissors....)...
