Anything that maintains your proper incubation temps and humidity will work fine. You can use a $600 incubator, a $40 styro incubator, a home made incubator, or in some cases (for some of us here) a warm closet, and they ALL work pretty much the same.. And, the the best part is that your eggs have NO idea what type incubator they are in!

I have used HatchRite in the past and saw NO difference in incubation and/or hatch rates. And, contrary to their claims, I did need to add water to the mixture. It's fine to use, but in my opinion it's not worth the additional cost.
