I have never had anyone ask that question. I use shoebox size tubs for all colubrid eggs. Most people do. If it is not broken don't try and fix it. In other words.. if this is your first time out , why not do what works for everyone else? Colubrid eggs are simple. Just stick the shoebox in a warm dark place like a closet. That is what i do. No incubator needed, no giant containers ect.
IMy guess would be that a large container might be harder to keep the right humidity and is more prone to drying out. But overall colubrid eggs (pueblin Milksnake )are tough. ----- Signature edited
