This could be a younger snake, and the issue comes when trying to spur sex pythons a year old or less. Many times the spur structure of these younger male pythons have not developed completely, and this can sometimes make distinguishing male spurs from female spurs problematic. Pythons in this select age group are probably best sexed by probing. A male the size of yours will probe well over 2 inches, a female an inch at most. Trying to pop a burmese more than a few months old will most likely cause physical damage to the snake. | ||
