Your pictures first need to reside on a web site or file hosting site such as Photobucket or Flikr as you cannot upload them to here. Then when you start a new message you need to enter the correct image HTML code (by clicking on the Tools and Toys link underneath the message window) for the url to your pictures within your message or enter the url in the Image URL: space down below.
