a buddy of mine told me about permectrin II you can spray it right on your snakes and pens. you take your water bowls out for 1 hour you use 3cc to 1 quart . a big breeder told him about it.
it works i used it 1 time havent seen any mites since. the breeder takes it to reptile shows and sprays the tables and floors.you can buy it on line at valleyvet .com you can sray your rats or mice if they have mites.
