IMO a pinky moouse is a micro meal for a BRB. Mine are offered a hopper mouse as their very first meal. They can even take down a weanling mouse. Yeah, not recommended. I'd definitely go with a larger meal. If you are concerned on size then a small hopper mouse or a rat pinky. I have my best success with hopper mice though. after several meals of stunned still twitching hoppers, they get the whole "being fed" thing down and are readily switched over the warmed up frozen thawed meals.
I have lots of animals and I =kep all mine on paper, so much easier to keep a large collection and easy to spot/find/clean up the messes. I've heard the coconut products work just fine but have no personal experience with them.
If all you want to do is take a pic, gently moving her from her enclosure to your pic spot and back should be fine. IMO handling is just that, holding and letting her slither through your hands and that chould be avoided for at least a couple of days (less with such a small meal). ----- Thanks,
