However, some females do probe 4. If you use a probe that is even just a little too large it will not go all the way in on males. With baby Rainbow Boas you need to use a probe that is small enough in diameter that it could cause injury if you are not VERY careful. Have you tried the palpation method? It is MUCH safer and some people are able to sex baby BRBs accurately using that method rather than probing. My sense of touch is just not sensitive enough to palpate babies but I use palpation when sexing any that are more than 30 inches long. [ Hide Replies ]
