there was some discussion regarding the difference between jani and deppei a few threads back. If memory serves me, jani has a lower saddle count and can be a bit more colorful however the latter trait is subject and not all that reliable.

Your snake looks like it has the potential to get some nice color. I know that J. Cherry can speak to the extreme variability of this ssp. He has had various phenotypes over the years from blk & wht to green!
