I definetely don't have enough money to have a necropsy done, not to mention I buried him already, so there's probably too much decay.

As I said I really have no clue, he showed no signs of a respiratory infection, had no cysts or lumps, he looked and acted perfectly healthy up until the night I believe he died. Maybe it was one of the thigns you suggested, but he just showed no signs.
