Welcome to the wonderful world of boas!

I'm 5'5" and my largest boa is just over 8'. I am able to handle her but she is a HANDFUL! Now that I am single, I don't have those extra pair of hands to help... (I like to have someone in the house when I take out the 6'plus boas, just in case! As I've been bitten and wrapped by one of the 7footers and it was a tad unnerving being alone). I don't plan to ever get any species bigger than the boas I have now for that reason.

I would highly suggest a male and preferable one of the smaller localities, look for central american boas, hog isle boas and other small insular species of BCi.

Good luck!
