Getting an animal labeled as domesticated wont stop the attempts to ban that animal. Look at the laws against pitbulls in different creas they are domestic dogs and still have bans.
On the other note it take thousands of years of breeding animals in captivity that Reptiles just dont have yet.
This is a great idea to stop the ban, but I dont think it will work. Keep thinking of ideas.
