Growing up in New Orleans I used to find them everywhere, but that was over 25 years ago. One was about 5 foot I named him Goliath and was super tame from the moment I picked it up. Others never really tamed down they just calmed down to where I could hold them with out getting bit, but rattled it's tail non stop and the musk, yes the musk. But my heart would always race whenever I came across one. I did have a couple eat their cage mates which were almost equal size, only to throw it up a day or two later. Nasty! [ Hide Replies ]
