There are hypo Flames and THEN THERE ARE hypo Flames. there is a NEW line out there that just blows everything out of the water as far as hypo Flames. Maybe JT colubrids or Zenny can post a pics for you of these remarkable flmes. I would call that line hypo Flame. The others pale (literally) in comparison. I have even seen some very washed down versions of barely red hypos called Flame.

This is what i used to call a hypo Flame. If your friend has the regular hypo Flames choose one from the clucth that has lots of the red on the head as babies 9as in picture). The ones with more red on the head tend to hold onto more red as they mature.

As far as Albino Flame brooksi I think that Zenny has some of the nicest i have seen. maybe he will post some pics again.

There are 2 things I must add, so not to confuse the whole name thing again in the future. The Albino flames that Zenny has are a "lavender" Flame. A true albino Flame is a different animal. i will be having the true albino Flames which is the the red eye albino with the red borrowed from the Flame line. These will also produce a true HYBINO. ...Yikes!~~~.. Herpteoculturists in the past gave little though to what something should be called before assigning a name for that trait.

In Florida kings the term "Flame" always refered to the hypo brooks. I mention this because in the 90's there used to be what people called the EXTREME Lavender brooks . Which are high red lavender albinos. But the Flame trait adds a different flavor than those high red Extreme Lav's. The Extreme lavs did have LOTS of red. But the red from the hypo line in hypo Flames just add something extra special and NEW!
