Yeah a friend of mine had a Cal King that retained two eggs. He eventually got bored with snakes and gave his entire collection to me. The snake bred the following year and passed those old eggs too. Bill Love had success using a large needle to pierce the snake at a safe place and the eggs also to suck the yolk out so the snake could pass them easier. But I agree with Rainer and prefer to let the snake pass them on her own. Now I have seen snakes die from retained eggs also. I know this sounds like mixed signals but just want you to be awate of the situation. I just leave them and feed them a lot and hope they pass on their own. I have one right now that has some eggs from last year and she eats like a pig, so I am hoping she will pass them with some good eggs too. Good Luck!
