Yo Pete!!!!
Yup, we're old suckers around here!!!!! We probably crossed paths back in the day!!! I started buying herps from Hermosa in the '60's. Used to hunt with a guy named Retes!!! One of the shops I worked in bought stock from Lambourn Bros. and in the 70's from Gary when Cal. Zoo. was just getting started!!! Gary always had great stock. I have a polaroid of Frank Retes and I holding my 11' Retic. in my living room. It was an interesting time but I wouldn't go back for anything!!! Few if any CB. Snakes available. Tame Blood Python and Tame Burmese were two oxymorons. I do remember low, low prices. I sold Rosies for $15, Striped Cali. Kings for $8 and I bought an Indigo for $30 in 1971 from a friend. Of course gas cost $0.28/Gal. to go to the desert to cruise. Those were the days, these are the days!!!
