I quess you could keep him/her a bit cooler by turning any supplemental heat off for awhile. That may slow it down enough to get the job done. Other than two folks holding as tried, maybe try a restraining tube. They are clear tubes used in venomous research. The snake is basically guided into the tube until the head and part of the body is inside. It doesnt allow the snake to turn around and bite you during probing, tagging, study, etc. I would think any piece of plastic pipe or sturdy cardboard tube narrow enough to allow the snake to climb in and not turn around would work as long as the head doesnt come out the other side to nail you LOL!! Looking at your pic, I would guess your snake is female by the pretty dramatic taper of the tail past the vent and overall tail length.
