Everyone incubates eggs differently and this is just what I do. I found a clutch of 11 eggs laid by one of my wc Florida females that was severely dented as I found them at lease 24 hours after they were laid and she laid them on sani chips as she did not have a lay box in with her. She was not bred this year but she must have retained sperm from last year and laid an unexpected clutch, hence the dented eggs. Anyways I set them up in a gladware container as I do all my eggs and put them on very moist perlite/ you can use vermiculite/ and poked two holes with a needle in the top. The low ventilation works well when trying to raise the humidity. I then got paper towels that I made damp and then laid it over the clutch of eggs for 4 days until they plumped back up. They are now perfectly fine and have swelled as they will hatch in the next week or so. As I said this is what I did/do with dented eggs and the particular ones I was talking about were soooooo dented that I didnt think they would survive, happy that they did GOODLUCK!!!
