So, since I know you are all kind to the less experienced, I will ask. I have bred cornsnakes, but got my first kingsnakes last year. My female grey-band is large enough I am sure (about 3 feet, and very plump), but not sure about my male. She acts ready to mate, even has raised her tail as he crawled over her. He is considerable smaller and doesn't quite seem to know what to do.
Is it ok to leave them together a few days, since she hasn't acted agressive toward him? I haven't read anywhere that grey-bands eat other snakes.
