Glue boards I think work best, bigger, lighter easier glue to remove the snake. Get enough to put in every corner and escape route. Once down, look at your records and see if it was in a shed cycle. Most times a snake that gets loose in shed cycle will find a spot and not move til it sheds out. If not in a cycle turn up the heat all the way, shut all the lights off and leave your place. If its there, not in the walls there is a good chance it will move and get caught within a hour. When you catch it in the glue DONT PEEL IT OUT! Pour vegatable oil on the glue and work it in til the glue breaks down, otherwise the snake will go into a shed cycle immediately from simple skin trauma. If you dont find it in a week move all the traps to the basement(or better yet do the basement now too!), they will move DOWN and be looking for moisture.... a wet towel on a basement floor is as good as tin in a field trust me! | ||
