That's what happened with almost all the so-called Cave men. The grants were aimed at funding the discovery of missing links, so missing links they got. Almost all of them have been proven to be fakes. One was the toothe of a pig! That's all they found and the rest of the specimen was recreated from the finding of the one toothe. I used to know all the details but it's been a while. There is lot's of money to be made in Carbon credits. So any grants applied for which support the agenda will be easier to get. There are also many Scientists who don't believe in Global Warming but they are not given much publicity by mainstream media. There are many ways to manipulate the data.
