After 72 days my female bairds finally ate but in a somewhat strange way. Maybe someone can explain this to me. I have been offering her small fuzzies the entire time she was on strike. (she can easily put back large fuzzies. She had a small fuzzy with her all night last night and this morning it was uneaten. I acquired a 2010 Sinaloan milk at a show sunday and bought a bag of pinkies. Not sure what made me try it but i decided to thaw one out and offer it to my bairds. She took it right away and inhaled it (it was far smaller than anything i would ever feed a snake her size) but im glad she got something in her belly. Im curious what made her shy away from small easily eaten prey and to go for TOO small of prey right away.
