I have a gravid black rat snake that is in her pre-lay shed . As i have counted the days on the calander, she is due to lay right smack in the middle of my vacation . I feel like the eggs should be fine to sit in the nest box a few days until I return . I generaly use sphagnum moss in the nest box.
Any advice or tips would be much appreciated!
