Well, when you just mentioned the word "he", and the fact that it is indeed an adult, and also corellating the time-span it started not feeding anymore...I would say it is probably in "search-for-mate-mode" right now..LOL!
Not to worry though. This is very typical for most colubrids this time of year, and as long as they had decent body weight prior to not feeding, they will fast with no issues whatsoever for another several weeks to a couple months and then resume feeding as they normally did after the breading instinct has subsided .
