Posted by: 53kw at Sat May 28 20:03:27 2011 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by 53kw ] I've had good luck with my baby subocs. They have all taken pink mice as a first meal although some wait a long time before eating. Subocs are very large hatchlings and the babies have a lot of yolk weight so they can afford to wait, sometimes until after hibernation. I've also found that many young snakes seem to feed better when they are kept in small groups, as if competition stimulates feeding. The baby Panther Canyons I kept are all eating live or defrosted pink mice with no fuss. [ Hide Replies ]
