The male just had a weird backward shed. He's been hanging out in his humid hide the last few days and today I noticed some shed skin stuck to the side. I got him out and sure enough damp patches of old skin were peeling off and sticking to my hand. It's weird because he never rubbed it loose around his face though. I basically had him shed the skin from his body in my hands which left him with a hood of old skin around his head that I helped him with. Here he is in his new skin.
