Most of the baby obsoletus I've had were pretty feisty biters. Feisty babies usually equals good tease feeders - good strike / feed response...



I have a yearling Vietnamese rhino rat which I STILL have to tease feed - better than force feeding, which I also had to do for a while. I have come up with a modified tease feeding method for her. I have a hide with the hole in the top, in her tub - I dangle her food inside the hide, knocking it around until she gets mad enough to strike. She does not have much of an inclination to strike outside of her hide, but invading her hide seems to do the trick...
