Honestly fish tanks are usually more trouble than they are worth.

Most Boa people at some point or another have been through "Fish Tank " phase.

I suggest looking for a nice Rubbermaid , Sterilite or Iris type
plastic container to use as your Boa enclosure.

These plastic containers work extremely well for maintaining ideal
heat and humidity for Boa c of all species/sub species.

With the glass fish tank you'll find it becomes a challenge to keep proper temps and even more so proper humidity levels of 50% - 70% levels.

Also there are really great plastic professional enclosures such as Boaphile Plastics which happens to be
the type I prefer and I'm now building a larger presence of Boaphile Plastics cages in my place.

Your Boa will thrive in any plastic container you choose.

Of course a reliable thermostat is required to maintain proper
temps in any enclosure you choose to use.
