Posted by: EmberBall at Mon Jan 9 17:47:44 2012 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by EmberBall ] The nicest Super Sulfur I produced this year was a female, and my first female Super Sulfur. She is the second nicest I have produced. The male from like 09 is still one scale shy of having a perfect and unbroken yellow stripe. My Super Ember is a possible Hypo, or Het Hypo, and has the least amount of orange. In my few years of breeding these, it "seems" the plain ole Super Sulfurs, not combined with any other gene, have the most orange. This is preliminary, and by no means set in stone, it has just been my experience. The linked picture shows two male Super Sulfurs, both produced from the same clutch. I think the light one may prove out to be a Mojave Super Sulfur, but the new owners will have to let us know for sure. | ||
