Yeah, that would be the stuff nightmares are made of man!...YIKES!!.......no casual dips in the ponds or beach for Dougie!

I swam PLENTY of huge chunks of bloody shark bait out on the beach, and even had a big shark on once before I could even swim back to my big ocean fishing rod stuck in a PVC pipe in the sand as my buddy was screaming my name holding my fishing rod..."HURRY UP!!...YOU GOT ONE ON MAN!!!!!" and the line is sizzling off right next to me as I am paddling back the opposite way to grab the pole!. I actually did manage to get to shore and land it with a good bit of luck..LOL!

I kid you not!

Now at night in pitch black darkness, swimming out the bloody shark bait got a bit too freakin scary though, and I began to only wade out up to my chest and try to toss it as far as it would go..LOL!. I have pulled many sharks onto the beach from the waters edge by their tails in the past and is really no big deal. When I went fishing on good ol' Ft.Lauderdale beach right on the main strip were everyone usually swims during the day, I would either catch sharks or big barracuda at least a good 75% of the times I went, and we used to go all the time. People walking down the beach would FLIP-OUT seeing for themselves that we were catching sharks there right off shore..LOL!

Anyway, I miss catching those with my buddy down there..
