"but did come out of the water when folks would tell me about the big shark right next to me!! Yikes!!"

HAHAHA!!!,.......That is funny as all HECK!!!. I was crackin the hell up over that. Yeah, I can relate to every single word man. Sharks are usually everywhere along the coast, it is just that most aren't aware that they are that close to them as they are floundering around enjoying themselves..LOL! I guarantee since you had that awesome arial view from the condo, you saw tons of them, also including huge dark schools of mullet and pilchards that other fish were smashing too, including snook, Tarpon, barracuda, Jack Crevalle, and a mix of sharks like spinners, black tips, gray reef sharks, and as you said, the very scary bullshark!.

a nice 'cuda I caught on the Ft.Laud. strip back in the early 90's.....

a sailfish in my boat off Pompano.......

Tarpon from Hollywood, Florida in the intracoastal....

MONSTER snook also in Hollywood. This thing was a whopping 44-3/4 inches and 32 lbs.!!

another killer snook at 42 inches!

Shark from the Lauderdale strip, also circa mid-90's.....

another nice snook at 42 inches! back in the day....

and a sweet phenotype splendida to help keep things in proper theme....LOL!

I have a bunch of big framed prints of LOTS of nice stuff I have caught in the past, and about a 2 inch stack of photos of a bunch more. Fishing is definitely right up there with snakes..
