I wish I was more computer savy, I would scan (I am assuming that is what you did here) some photos and put them up as well. What peir was that big snook from? My brother caught a monster off a peir five years ago or so in Ft. Lauderdale. He too was surprised it did not bust him off through abrasion. Wonder how many of those snook are swimming around with rusty hooks in their mouths! LOL. I caught a 140 pound Tarpon off of a peir in South Carolina many years ago. We had to estimate the weight because I did not want to gaff him and haul him up. There had been several caught and weighed that went 110 or so and mine was much larger. I miss fishing a lot and need to get back into the game. Hunting took over my outdoor time but I am starting to get the itch to fish!!! Your pics are killing me!! thanks a lot Doug! [ Hide Replies ]
