Never tried that. Thanks for the info. A long time ago I lost a female snow corn because I had a tear in the top of the tank and "repaired" it with duct tape. The snake got stuck to it and screwed itself up, by tearing off scales and skin, that it was a lost cause by the time I noticed it. Masking tape wouldnt have this problem but as a warning to others stay away from the sticky stuff.
