The circular mesh panel is completely attached with a circular zipper and is therefore snake-proof. The actual floor however is secured via a few velcro tabs and is not suitable for use by snakes as they could get under it and escape. As double insurance, I keep the pen in a room with a door that closes securely. Even if one were to get out, it would have no option for getting away from me for more than the few minutes before I found it again. So far, so good with the big, restless Pituophis. | ||
